Vigilanti: I'm sorry, Songween— we all agree that Jinjur should not become a Duchess, but there's nothing we can do. Your great-granddaughter accepted the terms of the duel, and by custom, those terms must be observed.
Songween: But— if Jinjur forfeits—
Vigilanti: Darling, Jinjur has wanted to be Duchess for so long that I think only a hail of bullets would convince her to forfeit.
Songween: That can be arranged!
B: No Cutting
Guilia: Jinjur is every bit as stubborn as the rest of her clan. You cannot expect her to just meekly accept a new Heir. I'd be surprised if she didn't fight.
Sandy: What if Jinjur was plotting a coup against Songween?
Margharita: If you have proof, we can arrest her. Queue-jumping is forbidden here. But if she's plotting a coup, then why would she even bother with a duel?
Vigilianti: It's a matter of honour with her.
Guilia: I was unaware that Jinjur had any honour to speak of.
