Kathy: And then what? Spend the rest of my life watching my back, waiting for the blow to fall? Fending off challenges?
Kathy: I'd have to be a tyrant, too— and that's not the kind of ruler I'd want to be!
Fred: I was hoping you'd say that...
B: Improvements?
Sandy: Whoa up there, Machiavelli—! Who says these people need technology?
Fred: Everyone needs technology. It makes life better—
Sandy: They seem to have a pretty good life as it is—
Sandy: You said it yourself— they eat, they sleep, they breed. They do no work— and you think you can improve this?
