A: Thrust Into A Position
Jade: I want you to know that i am not happy with the way The Lieutenant has been treating you. He has been driving you too hard, too fast, and with no clear direction to his training.
Kathy: He seems angry with me...
Jade: Oh, he is angry with you. He is angry because he thought that he could control you, the way he has been controlled by those who trained him. He is angry because he has been thrust into a position which he did not seek. He is angry because he is expect to save the world. And he is angry because he does not believe that he can do that.
Jade: But mostly he is angry at the thought of you getting killed because of your foolish bravery.
Kathy: Ow!
B: A Happy Ending
Kathy: Everybody thinks I'm a fool... maybe I should just quit...
Jade: No, my child— you must not quit—
Jade: —you must win!
