A: Casus Bellorum
Fred: Her father, the Maharaja of Ollistan, was one of Songween's allies in the First Afghan War. When the Persians lost, he was deposed, and Songween gave him and his family asylum here. She tried to help him get his country back. Not recognizing the new regime in Ollistan was what led to the Second and Third Afghan Wars.
B: Persians And Afghans
Fred: When the Maharaja died, the new Maharani gave up trying to reclaim her country, and settled in Rackenroon permanently.
Kathy: Huh. I knew my grannies fought in the Afghan Wars on the Persian side, but I never understood what started them.
Fred: As with most wars the cause was stupid, really.
Fred: It was over who had the most luxurious fur.
