A: The Kindness Of Strangers
Jade: How does one get to be anything? I needed the money. When we fled Ollistan, we had barely the clothes on our backs. We were lucky to still be alive.
Jade: My father was able to draw upon the kindness of sympathetic expatriates, but that revenue stream was soon exhausted when it became obvious that the monarchy would not be restored. He died a bitter and broken man.
B: From Princess To Working Girl
Jade: The only thing I had to sustain me was an excellent education, my good looks, and my royal title. There is really only one career open to someone with those qualification.
Jade: You would be astonished by how much money wealthy men will pay to sleep with a princess.
Kathy: Tell me about it.
