A: Sacred And Profane
(A mountain scene, we hear Fred speaking)
Fred: We hyenas are not a religious people... our massive self-confidence forbids a belief in a higher power...
(Scene of a hyena warrior clad only in a skirt and beads sounding a ram's horn)
Sfx: FWOOOOOOT!
Fred: ...but a boma feast is very near to a sacred rite...
(Scene of scantily-clad warriors dancing around a bonfire)
Fred: ...where fire, food, and sexuality all combine...
B: Song And Dance
Scene of tribal drums)
Fred: ...with music...
(Scene of ceremonial dancers doing a sword dance)
Fred: ...and ritualized dancing...
Sfx: Klak! Klik! Shik! Shwak! Kling! Klang! Klank!
C: Ancient Goddess
(Scene of the sword dancers forming an honor guard as Songween is carried in on a litter)
Fred: ...all overseen by an omnipotent goddess who was ancient before most of us were born.
