Sandy: Hold on— How is Rackenroon indebted to you—?! What about all the money that the Hyena Brigade brings in>
Fred: It all gets "reinvested" almost as fast as it comes in.
Fred: Warfare is a very lucrative business, but very expensive to maintain. The Brigade, believing itself wealthy, spends money not so much like a drunken sailor, but like politicians in a contested election year. Part of the reason why I am the Duchess' adjutant involved a financial bailout deal with my family.
Fred: The government is... leveraged... over a cliff, and my family is standing on the end of the plank.
