Fred (thinking): Sell it, sell it, boy! Eyes front, chin up! Walk like you own the place— which you do— Impress the hell out of everybody—
Koz: Hey! Can I get some fries with that shake?"
OtherBrigadiers: SHUT UP, KOZ—!!!
B: Gobsmacked
(Everyone in the room gapes at Fred with open-mouthed amazement)
Fred (thinking): Look at them all, staring at me, gawping at me... the entire officers' corps is completely stunned... it's like the climax of "Laddie MacDeth," only in real life... I've totally gobsmacked them... but there's only ONE person here whose reaction really matters to me—
(Jinjur looks stunned. Kathy grins at her.)
Jade (to Jinjur): Close your mouth, dear— you're starting to drool.
Jinjur: HAHHHHHHH...
